LDT03 CONTEST
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
DO NOT PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE RULES. BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE RULES, WHICH CONSTITUTE A CONTRACT, AND YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THEM.
-
ORGANIZER – The "LDT03" contest (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") is organized and administered by Équipe de Dérapage Légaré Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest Organizer").
-
CONTEST PERIOD – The Contest begins at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on April 17, 2025 (the "Contest Start Date") and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 31, 2025 (the "Contest End Date"). This period is referred to as the "Contest Period." The Contest Organizer's clock will be the official timekeeper for this Contest.
-
ELIGIBILITY – The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada who have a valid driver’s license and have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Employees of the Contest Organizer, its subsidiaries, advertising partners, Internet agencies, and each of their respective officers, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Contest Entities") and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and grandparent) and/or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Rules. Winning the Prize is conditional upon compliance with all the requirements set forth in these Rules.
-
HOW TO ENTER – No purchase necessary.
There are 2 (two) ways to enter the Contest for a chance to win the Prize (as defined below):
A) ENTRY BY PURCHASE – During the Contest Period, eligible participants will receive one (1) entry for every one Canadian dollar (CAD $1.00) spent on eligible products and items purchased from the Contest Organizer:
a) Online at ldtgiveawa.ca (the "Website"); or
b) At participating physical locations of the Contest Organizer
(each referred to as a "Purchase Entry").
At participating physical locations, participants will receive a coupon with their receipt containing a unique PIN corresponding to the number of entries received (a "Unique PIN"). Participants must visit the Website, access the Contest registration page, and complete all required fields in the registration form (the "Registration Form"), including full name, date of birth, postal code, email address, phone number with area code, the Unique PIN, and confirmation that they have read, understood, and accepted the Rules.
The number of Purchase Entries will be based on the purchase price (excluding sales tax and shipping fees) and rounded up to the nearest whole Canadian dollar. If a purchase is returned before the prize draw, the corresponding entries will be voided. Entries are awarded for gift card purchases based on card value (e.g., a $50 gift card earns 50 entries). Purchases made using a gift card are not eligible for entries unless the purchase exceeds the card’s value (e.g., a $100 purchase with a $50 gift card earns 50 entries). All purchases are subject to the Contest Organizer’s return policy. The transaction must be received by the Contest End Date and include participant consent to enter.
No limit on the number of Purchase Entries per participant. During the Contest Period, participants may opt to subscribe to the Contest Organizer’s email communications. Subscription is optional and does not increase chances of winning. Subscription grants permission for future communications about services, rewards, promotions, and offers, from which the participant can unsubscribe at any time.
B) MULTIPLIER ENTRIES – During the Contest Period, the Contest Organizer may announce multiplier opportunities such as 2X, 5X, 10X, 20X, or 30X entries (each a "Multiplier"). For example, a $60 purchase during a 10X promotion would result in 600 entries.
No-purchase entries (defined below) are not subject to Multipliers. However, during a Multiplier period, no-purchase entries receive 200 entries. If "LIMITED" is handwritten on the bottom-left corner of the envelope, an additional 100 entries will be granted.
The duration and timing of Multipliers will be determined solely by the Contest Organizer and announced on the Website and/or social media.
C) BONUS ENTRIES – The Contest Organizer may announce bonus entry opportunities for in-store or online purchases (a "Bonus"). For example: 15 bonus entries for purchases between $30–$49.99; 25 bonus entries for purchases between $50–$99.99; and 50 bonus entries for purchases over $100. A $60 purchase during a Bonus period yields 85 entries (60+25).
To receive Bonus entries without making a purchase, follow the no-purchase instructions below and write "BONUS" in the bottom-right corner of the envelope. Mail must be postmarked on the Bonus date and received within five (5) days. If the Bonus ends on a Sunday or federal holiday, mail must be postmarked the next business day and received within five (5) days.
Internet access, phone usage, or data fees may apply based on your provider’s terms. If participating on mobile, standard data charges may apply.
D) NO-PURCHASE ENTRY – To receive sixty (60) entries without making a purchase, handwrite your full name, address, city, province, postal code, date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy), email address, and phone number (with area code) on a 3" x 5" piece of paper. Mail in a #10 envelope with proper postage to: 25 Rue des Industries, Saint-Gilles Québec G0S 2P0, Canada. Each envelope must contain a single entry and have a legible return address. Bulk submissions are not allowed. Handwritten only; no mechanical reproductions accepted. Mailed entries postmarked by the Contest End Date and received by July 31, 2025, will be valid. Each eligible no-purchase entry counts for 60 entries.
Purchase and no-purchase entries are each referred to as an "Entry," collectively the "Entries."
No-purchase entries not in the specified format, illegible, incomplete, or photocopied will be void. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. All materials become property of the Contest Organizer and will not be returned. No confirmation of receipt will be issued.
